Illustrations, books and soft sculptures
What paper do you use for your illustrations and prints?
Most of my gouache, watercolour and pencil illustrations are made on 300 grams Arches paper: either grain satiné or grain fin. It’s my absolute favourite!
As for prints of my work, I often choose for either 300 grams BioTop or 350 grams Tintoretto Gesso. BioTop has a very similar light texture like Arches grain satiné, whilst Tinteretto Gesso is more heavily textured. Both papers have their unique qualities.
Do you welcome commissions and collaborations?
Oh yes I do! I curious to know what it is I might be able to help you with. If you’re interested in a commission or collaboration, feel welcome to get in touch with me through email, phone or social media. You’ll be able to find my contact details down below.
When will your book be published?
I plan to self-publish my very first children’s book in 2023. If you’d like to keep up to date on the progress, I welcome you to have a peek at my Instagram.

What are your shipping costs and do you ship to my country?
When proceeding to the checkout, your smart little shopping cart will calculate the shipping costs for you. I ship with both PostNL and DHL: depending on the weight and size of your order you’ll be able to select your parcel to be either delivered through your letterbox or by parcel post. All shipping costs include either 9% BTW (for books) or 21% BTW (for prints and illustrations).
And yes: I’d be happy to ship to your country! As shipping costs tend to vary quite a bit between different countries, shipping abroad by parcel post will cost between €13,- and €18,- depending on your location. However, if shipping costs to your location turn out to be a bit less to what was calculated, I’ll always make sure to refund you the difference.
What payment options do you have available?
All payments of the store run through Mollie, a Dutch payment service provider. At this moment, you’ll be able to pay with either iDeal, Bancontact or Creditcard.
When will my parcel be shipped?
I’ll make sure to send out your parcel as soon as I possibly can. As Miezepluis isn’t my main job, it sometimes happens that an order will come in when I’m not in the studio. I’ll however make sure to ship out your items within 5 working days. If an item is in backorder, this might take a little while longer. I’ll make sure to keep you up to date on the planned shipping date. Although things might take a little longer, I can assure you your order is handled with great care and love!
Is it possible to return my order?
If you aren’t pleased with your order, please don’t feel ashamed to get in touch with me through email. Items should be returned within 14 days from delivery to be eligible for a refund. Personalized prints, soft sculptures and illustrations unfortunately aren’t eligible for returns and refunds.
Before shipping your order, I make sure the items I send you are in perfect condition and very carefully wrapped and packaged. After the parcel has left my little workplace, I unfortunately am no longer able to guarantee a safe delivery. However: if your items get damaged in transit, please let me know. I’m here to help you out and find a suitable solution to the problem, together with you!
I’m looking for a certain print, but I can’t seem to find it in your shop. Can I order one still?
You’ll be able to find prints of my personal favourite illustrations in my little shop. However, if you’ve spotted a certain illustration you’d like a print off that’s not yet made available, please let me know. I’m happy to see what I might be able to do for you. If you’d like a print in a different sizing then is currently available in my shop, let me know too: the possibilities are almost endless, hihi.
Where can I find your terms and conditions?
You’ll be able to find my terms and conditions here. As Miezepluis is based in The Netherlands, they’re written in Dutch and compliant with the Dutch law.
